Complex cases
X-rays from Dr. Vinod's own patients. These are the kinds of problems that often lead to a tooth being removed elsewhere.
Retreatment of a failed root canal
An earlier root canal had failed. The old filling was removed, the canals cleaned again, and the tooth resealed.

A canal that was missed
The first treatment had missed a canal. Under the microscope it was found, cleaned and sealed.

A tooth with a root fracture
Before and after treatment of a tooth with a fracture in the root.

A side branch of the canal
Side branches off the main canal can hold infection. Here the branch was cleaned and sealed along with the main canal.

A small extra canal in a lower molar
Some lower molars have a small extra canal between the two main ones, which is easy to miss without a microscope.

A broken instrument inside the canal
Managing a piece of instrument that had broken inside the root canal.

An opening through the root
Treating an accidental opening through the wall of the root or the floor of the tooth.

Endodontic surgery
When the problem at the root tip could not be reached through the tooth, it was treated with a small procedure through the gum.
